What format should I use in the range field?
Use comma-separated groups: 1-3, 5, 7-9. A hyphen is enough for adjacent blocks, and just the number for single pages.
Why does the result sometimes download as a ZIP?
When several files are produced, they are all gathered into a single ZIP archive. If one file comes out, it downloads directly as a PDF.
What is the maximum number of parts from one document?
A single run produces at most 200 parts. On very large documents, increasing the part size lowers the number of files.
What should I do if my document will not open?
For an encrypted or corrupted PDF, the tool shows a clear warning. You can save the document as an unlocked copy and upload it again.
Does splitting harm my files?
No. Splitting is done on the temporary copy you uploaded; the original PDF on your device does not change. The outputs you download are new files.
Is the page order preserved?
Yes. Every output follows the page order of the source document; in range mode the groups are processed in the order you wrote.
I need to add, delete or rotate pages; does this tool do that?
This tool only splits and extracts pages. Deleting, rotating and cropping pages is a separate job; if splitting is what you need, you are in the right place.
